To use apply directly, as a moisturizer, to cleanse skin after applying lighter, water-based treatments. Alternatively, mix a few drops with other treatments, moisturizers, or oils before application.
Sea buckthorn oil has a strong yellow color due to its high carotenoid and lycopene concentration. The color washes off when you wash your face. However, given this, the oil is best used at night. It is suitable for all skin types, except skin prone to fungal acne.
